Please read this page before relying on anything you find on ipptcalculatorns.com. It sets out what this site is, and more importantly, what it is not.
This is an unofficial site
ipptcalculatorns.com is an independent website. It is not operated by, affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), the Central Manpower Base (CMPB), NS Portal, or any Singapore government body or agency.
All official information about the Individual Physical Proficiency Test — your booking, your window, your official result, your incentive payment and your NS FIT status — comes from the NS Portal and CMPB. Nothing on this site changes or replaces any of that.
About the scoring data
The scoring tables used by our calculator and published on our score table page are transcribed from the IPPT scoring tables that the SAF implemented on 1 April 2015, as published by MINDEF, and have been checked against the official IPPT calculator on the NS Portal.
We take the accuracy of those tables seriously and we verify them. Even so, transcription errors are possible, and MINDEF can revise the scoring system at any time without our knowing. If your official result differs from what this calculator shows, the official result is the correct one. If you spot a discrepancy, please email us so we can check and correct it.
The calculator is a planning tool
The score you get here is an estimate for training and planning. It carries no official standing. It does not book a test, does not record an attempt, does not qualify you for an incentive payment, and cannot be presented as proof of anything.
Station rules also matter in ways a calculator cannot capture. Repetitions only count when the required form is met, the run is conducted on an approved route or track, and the conducting officer’s assessment on the day is what stands.
Health and fitness
This site publishes general training information. We are not doctors, physiotherapists or certified strength coaches, and nothing here is medical advice.
Physical training carries risk of injury. Before starting or significantly changing a training programme, especially if you have an existing injury, a medical condition, or a current status that restricts your activity, speak to a qualified medical professional. If you are serving, raise it through your medical officer. Stop and seek help if you experience chest pain, dizziness, breathlessness out of proportion to the effort, or pain that is sharp rather than muscular.
You train at your own risk. We accept no liability for injury, loss or damage arising from following any training suggestion published here.
Accuracy and currency
We try to keep every page current and to date them clearly. IPPT policy, booking arrangements, incentive amounts and FCC operating hours do change. Where a figure is time-sensitive we say where it came from, but we cannot guarantee that every page reflects the position on the day you read it. Always check the NS Portal for the current rules.
External links
We link to third-party websites, mostly official Singapore government sources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or availability.
Advertising
This site carries advertising, which is what keeps it free to use. Ads are served by Google and its partners, and their presence is not an endorsement by us of any advertised product or service. How advertising data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
This site and everything on it is provided on an “as is” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for any loss or damage — direct, indirect or consequential — arising from the use of, or reliance on, this site.
Questions
If something here looks wrong, or you want to flag an error in the tables, email info@ipptcalculatorns.com. Corrections are welcome and we act on them.
